What a fun experience. Cliff was so friendly and shared so much information not only about the craft beer scene but also a good bit of Berlin history as well. I have done several brewery/beer tours but this one by far was the best! All the beer we tried was incredible and the venues we visited were unique. Highly recommend if you are in Berlin and love beer!

The tour was exactly what I was looking for. Great Beers to taste and a great guide knowledgeable about the neighborhood and how beer is made. It was so much fun tasting beer and learning about the evolution of the craft beer movement in Berlin. Added bonus were all of the interesting anecdotes about beer in history and German culture. I highly recommend this experience. Definitely a lot of fun and definitely not a pub crawl vibe.

One of the most interesting tours around Berlin, accompanied by an interesting guide and accompanied by tasty beers.
The trip was organized for 25 people (or more!) and I think that I can say on behalf of most of them that the evening was successful and interesting. The beers offered during the tour surprised with their variety of flavors, and Cliff brilliantly created the atmosphere by telling interesting facts about beer crafts.
What to expect from the trip? Lovely atmosphere, lots of interesting facts about Berlin and beer brewing, and above all, the opportunity to try great beers!

We were very happy with this tour. The guide was very knowledgeable, both about beer styles, brewing, the history of beer (both german and otherwise) and about Berlin. This tour enhanced our visit to Berlin and we would definitely recommend anyone to try it out. And as a plus the guide listened a bit to what we liked, and somewhat adjusted what beers he got for us based on our likes and dislikes. For example, I do not like wheat beer and at the final stop the other participants got a wheat beer, and I got something else instead.

Cliff is really passionate and knowledgeable about the local craft beer scene. This is not a pub crawl, it is an extensive history tour of beer in Berlin and Germany. While I think one more beer during the tour would have been good you can start early or stay late at the first and last bars. You also go through a neighbourhood that I don't think would be on any tourist maps.

Tour took place in craft beer shops around Ostkreuz and Frankfurter Allee. It turned out to be a fantastic experience! Our tour guide, Ciff, has clearly done extensive research on beer—the flavors, origins, and its historical connection to Berlin. His explanations were both informative and engaging, covering the beer-making process and even letting us try barley seeds to get a taste of the raw ingredients. He also taught us how to predict the taste of a beer before even taking the first sip by observing sweetness, yeast levels, and other indicators from its aroma.Throughout the tour, we sampled around seven beers (served in small tasting glasses, equivalent to about 2 regular glasses in total), each with its own distinct flavors. Overall, it was a great experience.

Did this tour when in Berlin recently. Cliff was an amazing guide, hugely knowledgeable and good fun. The tour is pitched really well, a good mix of history of Berlin, history of beer and the technicalities of beer making and drinking most importantly. Would highly recommend, it's a lovely way to pass a couple of hours in Berlin!

Es war ein toller Abend mit viel Spaß. Man braucht sich keine Sorgen machen, ob man zu viel trinken würde, es war genau richtig. Auch immer nur 0.1l Biere. Wir waren eine bunte lustige Truppe. Cliff hat uns super durch den Abend geführt. Die 3.5h gingen super schnell um.
